With great excitement and pride, we announce that this year Purple Cloud has been awarded two prizes in the bookbinding section of the Sydney Royal Art Show, held each year as a part of the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

     
Our book, “Two People” by A.A. Milne won second prize in the traditional case binding category.  A 1932 edition of the book is re-bound in a simple and elegant paper and leather cover    Our second entry in the book art category titled ‘The Bookish Alphabet” has won third prize.  The book is a contemporary version of the medieval girdle books.
